Rental Returns

Rental are due back to the bookstore at the end of each semester. Rental Return Due date will be printed on the sticker applied to the back of the textbook.  Finish with them early? No problem! Get them returned and avoid late fees! If you want to keep your rental book for the next semester, please call us at 719.587.7981 and buy out your rental book! We have a Dropbox located right outside the bookstore for anyone needing to drop books off after hours. 

There are 2 easy options for returning your rental books!  Details can be found below.

If you are unsure of the rentals you have out, contact us via email, phone, or chat and provide your Student ID number and full name, and we will provide you with a list of your outstanding rentals. 

If you need to keep your rental books and wish to purchase them, please contact us, and we will process your rental book 'buyout' for you!

Option 1:

  • RETURN YOUR RENTALS TO THE CAMPUS STORE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.  WE ARE OPEN!
    Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm 

Option 2:

  • SHIP THEM BACK TO US - THIS OPTION REQUIRES PACKING MATERIALS AND ACCESS TO DROP OFF OR PICK-UP BY USPS, OR UPS- Access your free shipping label for returns by Clicking HERE
    Follow the steps below:
    • On the back of all of our rental books, there is a sticker with the due date.
    • If you are unsure of the rentals you have out, send an email to adamsstatebookstore@textbookbrokers.com with your student ID number and full name and we will email you back with the books you rented.
    • Please make sure that all items are packaged securely to prevent any damage during the shipping process. Fill any empty spaces with clean filler such as bubble wrap, newspapers, or other packing materials.
          *The Adams State Bookstore is not obligated to issue a refund for return shipments that are lost or damaged*
      Make sure to include a note in your package with as much information as possible so that we can be sure to check the rentals in on the correct student account.  Below is the information we can use to process your return:
    • - Student ID Number (required)
      - Name (required)
      - Order number
      - Address
      - Email Address
      - Phone Number
      • Fill out the required information and a FREE return label will be emailed to you in minutes! 
      • **PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND/OR JUNK FOLDERS IF YOU CANNOT FIND THE LABEL!!**
      • You will only be provided ONE free return label so, be sure to send all of your rentals back at once or you will be responsible for any additional shipping.
      • The label may say it is for one unit. That is the number of packages, NOT the number of books! 
      • Get your Summer book return package in the mail no later than August 7th to avoid late fees!
      • Make sure to enter your tracking number below!
